CONVENTION

LEVELS

NEW THIS SEASON
As we continue to grow, we’ve updated our level structure to better reflect age-appropriate training, classroom environment, and overall dancer experience. This allows us to create more balanced rooms where dancers train alongside others in a similar stage of development. Our updated age and level structure is:

  • Mini: Ages 5–7

  • Junior: Ages 8–10

  • Intermediate: Ages 11–15

  • Advanced: Ages 16+

  • Pre-Professional: 21+ (when space is available)

FEES

Group Leaders/Studio Owners/Directors may apply their own additional administrative fees. This is very common in the industry and covers the time and expenses incurred while organizing, registering, and attending these events.

*Early registration tuition fees apply to registrations that are fully paid before the 21 day cutoff.

**Regular registration tuition fees will apply after the 21 day cutoff.

Military discounts cannot be retroactively applied or combined with other discounts or scholarships.

*Savings are deducted from your group’s balance when checking out through our customer portal.

**To be eligible to receive $335 credit back per 11 dancers registered, every dancer must be full-fee paying. No other discounts or scholarships can be applied to the registration.

****Group discounts only apply to full fee paying dancers in a group. All dancers must be registered under the same account, with singular payment to be eligible for group discounts. Dancers applying a scholarship to their registration do not count as a full fee paying dancer, and are therefore excluded from group discount calculations.

SCHOLARSHIPS

All Junior, Intermediate, Advanced, and Pre-Pro dancers that are registered for the full convention will participate in scholarship auditions.

  •  Mini Monsters dancers will not have an audition but will be selected through their classes for One-City scholarships.

  • Scholarships apply to convention fees only and do not apply to competition fees.

  • All scholarships must be used before the expiration date printed on the scholarship voucher.

SHOES ARE MANDATORY

For the safety of all performers on the Monsters stage, footwear MUST be worn at all times. Performers will not be allowed onstage or permitted to compete in bare feet or socks.

KEEP IT CLEAN

At Monsters events, we appreciate the wide range of personal expression and creativity offered by different styles and choreography. While we do not wish to stifle anyone’s artistic voice, Monsters is a family event, and routines deemed inappropriate will be penalized.
